For my northern hemisphere readers, you’re not going to be walking down the street in heels right now unless your feet are covered in a natural coat of sheep’s wood. If they’re not (first, phew – relief), then you’re going to need some ideas for boots.
Each season I find myself buying a few new pairs of boots that are on trend and will last me for the season. Here are some of my fav boots that I’m love wearing this season and nice core accessories to help you build great outfits, from your toes upwards.
Black boots with jewel details
I don’t know about you, but I own too many pairs of regular black ankle boots! So this season I decided to use the little extra details on these boots as an excuse to add to my wardrobe. It all started last season with more buckles, pearls and jewel details on regular black boots, which can jazz up the outfit! I have found some here below for you guys to check out:
Snake print boots
Snake prints are a big trend this season – and let me emphasise, snake prints! Not snake skin! Admittedly this look is bold, but there’s nothing wrong with that – go out and turn some heads. Fashion is all about stepping outside of the box and making a statement!
And don’t go spending a lot of money on snake print boots. Save your money for a classic black pair of boots that will last you season after season. This might be a little trendy but it’s a trend that you want to jump on the band wagon for! It can make your outfit so chic and modern!
Cream knee high boots
Knee-high and creme, what do you think? I’m a fan. It’s not all about wearing black boots in winter! Experiment with colours and textures that create a different moods. These boots kinda throw me back to the ’70s or ’80s and instantly alter my mood. I have worn these out so many times and they’re perfectly paired with winter whites.
Suede over the knee boots
With London weather being so gloomy and wet all the time, suede might not be an ideal material for your shoes BUT you can always treat them with some water and stain proof spray, which will help repel water and rain. So don’t let the weather put you off wearing suede! I love the slouchy and more relaxed look of suede for a more chilled look.
Black knee high boots
And here we are – the classic black knee high boots! Classics! If you only have room for one new pair, these are it. Season after season, they’ll never grow old. I picked the more slouchy look for these boots because I wanted to be able to wear my jeans in them if I wanted to.
