I spend a lot of time travelling each year – short-haul flights within Europe, long haul flights between London and Asia, and of course the big one between London and Sydney. There are certain things that I can’t live without when I travel, and so many of you are jet-setters too! So this is an important topic!
When I have a long haul flight, I try to be as comfortable and organised as possible – it takes the stress out of moving around. I always take tracksuit pants to change into on the flight as well – before the plane has even start taxiing, I pop to the washroom and get into something comfortable to beat the rush. It’s just so much easier to work, relax and fall asleep in stretchy comfort-wear than a styled travel outfit, and this way it keeps your nice clothes fresh and wrinkle-free for when you’re ready to disembark. I also love my personalised accessories, and for a stylish traveller a personalised passport holder is a must! I have a passport, boarding pass, a few different cards that I use when travelling in different places and some different currency – you need a little pouch that can keep all of this stuff!
A little bit about my luggage, I’ve been using Samsonite for years even before started blogging and doing a bit of work with them. The reason for this is because I always want to fit as much as I can into my luggage and weight is always an issue – the Cosmolite range has some of the lightest hard cases on the market. And they’re indestructible! I’ve travelled so much in the past three years and nothing ever happens to the bags. Trust me I know what the luggage handlers get up to at the airport, let’s just say they’re not gentle!! Also Samsonite just came out with their new Karissa backpack range with Swarovski crystals. I put all my electronics in this backpack – it fits my cute little 12″ Macbook as well as my DLSR and a few other bits and pieces perfectly.
My skin also gets super dehydrated on flights, so I always make sure I remove all my make up with my favourite Bobbi brown cleansing oil (you can get a travel-sized one that can just pop into your carry on). No more breaking out or dry patches! I recently started using Dr Jart’s Ceramidin cream and I think I’m in love. It has been promoted to an essential of mine. I tend to get dry patches around my nose and mouth, but since I started using this cream, it pretty much fixed all my skin issues. It’s a dream.
Last but not least, don’t ever get stuck without a trusty power bank!
I’ve featured most of these items below – tell me what you think!
Happy Travelling!

Thanks for sharing babe! I can’t ever go ANYWHERE without my power bank really haha. I find that for me,its my skin that ends up getting a lot of issues when I travel so I always make sure to carry Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir with me on flights. It’s my little holy grail. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week!

Samsonite are my favourite too. Way back for my trips when I turned 21 I bought a case that still holds up today and I still use it. That is now going strong for 14 years! Not bad hey? I love their hard cases too, those are my go-to, I have them in a few of the different styles and sizes and I just love them. I have a photo somewhere of me hugging my big case the day I bought it, I was just so happy to have found the one and it represented so many future travels.
