How to wear knee high boots

With the cooler months fast approaching, Im looking forward to wearing my knee high boots. I’m sure a lot of you already own a black pair, but for this season why not step outside the box and try going with either a tan, neutral or a grey pair just to mix it up a bit. Knee high boots don’t always have to be black!

Here are some looks that I was inspired from. Absolutely love the camel tones in this! (Camel tones, not camel toe hahahaha :D)

Above: Love this casual chic look. Wearing knee high boots doesn’t always have to be dressy. You can always dress it down with denim and knit.

So here is my take on my grey knee high boots! I decided to pair some knee high boots from Billini with my Forever New Jumper and of course the Roller One Teaspoon shorts. I wanted to dress down this look by wrapping a denim jacket around my waist. Finishing this look off with my white Proenza Schouler.

I also encourage girls to look for different colour boots this season – pairing black boots with just about anything is easy, but I think a more subtle tone can enable you to wear a striking pair of knee-highs without them necessarily dominating the entire outfit. You can see from the photo below that while these Billini’s are super beautiful, they don’t drown out or dominate the rest of my look. So maybe look beyond black this season!

You will never get me out of my shorts!! lol
