Have you guys tried GHD’s new hot brush tool? It’s called the Rise and I don’t want to sound corny but the volume this added to my hair – it was named so well. If you’re looking to add a bit of bounce and body to your hair, this is the hair styling tool for you.
GHD is known as the hair connoisseur so I was super excited to try this hot brush tool when I first got it. Want me to be honest? I actually didn’t love it the first time I used it! Want to know why? I didn’t know how to use it properly. I feel like this is half the problem when we attempt to use new hair styling tools – we don’t give them enough practice before forming our opinions. But I stuck with the GHD Rise and after a couple more uses, I can assuredly safe that I’ve fallen in love with this thing.
The Rise claims you get two times more volume added to your hair from using this brush – thanks to smart ultra-zone technology – and you really do. What I really love about it, is that the volume is all accumulated at the root so you get maxime body but in a stylised way. This is thanks to the soft, smooth touch bristles that are designed for close contact to the hair root. The tool has a sleek design – don’t all GHD products look fab? – making it fit into my dressing room so stylishly and it’s so easy to function, thanks to the tapered handle and professional length swivel cord.
The key is to use it like a brush and it will give you the best blow out as a result. Who doesn’t love bouncy and wavy hair; really big, loose, movie star-like curls. If you want tight curls, this isn’t the brush for you but if you’re looking for a blow dry style effect – this is the tool you need. It works particularly well on my flat and fine hair, adding some much-needed volume and that little bit of extra lift.
Overall, do I think you need this brush? Yessssss. It’s a new tool that I can’t live without right now; nothing else will achieve this bouncy, voluminous look so effortlessly. It makes having the enviable blow out look so easy and convenient – and all from the comfort of your own home. My personal tip is to try it for a week or two and play around with it; get used to it and then I’m pretty sure you’ll fall in love with it too. I definitely love mine.
