Cozy up in UNIQLO knits this winter

I’m thrilled to be working with UNIQLO this year, because I’ve been a fan of their clothing for so many years now. I remember first discovering their SoHo store in NYC many years ago and loading up one of those little baskets they give you when you walk in. It was a year when winter arrived a little early and it was the kind of weather that bites through your jacket and chills your bones. I was desperate for some layering options because I had packed really poorly, thinking I might get lucky and snag some pleasant autumn weather in November.

Now autumn is rolling out in Sydney – swimming pool weather is turning into hot tub weather, my scarf collection is beginning to grow and my denim shorts are going into hib… errrr… well, ok my denim shorts never go into hibernation! But you get my drift – it’s getting colder! So what great timing that I’m now able to showcase some of UNIQLO’s 2016 autumn/winter goodies for all of you girls!

I’ve picked out four looks that I think represent the UNIQLO brand for its classic simplicity, which can be pulled and matched in a way that totally satisfies my desire for urban chic ensembles.

First is my UNIQLO grey cashmere turtleneck, paired with a long grey coat and (of course!) denim shorts from my wardrobe.

Second, I’m going for a preppy look here in a Uniqlo cotton cashmere cricket sweater over a crisp white shirt, and denim with frayed hems – topping this look off with my favourite fluffy sneakers.

Third, every girl needs a Uniqlo tan/camel turtleneck this winter! Pairing this with a wrap skirt and white sneakers from my wardrobe, for a casual look.

And last, wearing all Uniqlo grey in a cashmere sweater and pencil skirt. I completed this look with an oversized and super cosy scarf.

Happy layering!
