t’s that time of year again…boots weather time. Don’t be sad if you’re still mourning summer – I don’t know about you but I was rocking a pair of boots or two with some cute summer dresses. I just mean, it’s now officially ‘boots of any kind’ weather. I’m talking thigh-high and alpine-style; the return of the sock boot and so many other styles.
It’s so hard to find a good black bag. One that isn’t too big, or too small; one that can take you from day to night… This one from Michael Kors is fast becoming my new best friend; it’s satchel-esque vibe makes it the perfect daytime companion while the size and hardware details mean it works for evening too.
There’s all this talk about wanting to be a princess or a mermaid but now it’s time for cowgirls to
shine as fashion is steering us slightly to the wild west. Who knew the likes of Butch Cassidy and
John Wayne could provide sartorial choices in 2019 but here we are. I’m going to say let’s ditch the
spurs and hat but the boots? The boots are trending and you should definitely consider adding them
to your shoe collection.
Anything that adds some fun to the shoulders – I’m here for. I loved the cold-shoulder trend, was so on board with the off-the-shoulder situation and now, I’m living for the puff sleeve. For me, it’s the perfect combination of demure Victorian chic and 80s power trip – except I refuse to believe that anyone is going to regret this trend.
