Summer Sandals Trend

May 14, 2019 | Miss Gunner

SoLast month, summer weather (in London) was finally here; this month, not so much. But it’s only the start of May so here’s hoping the sunshine pushes through soon. With the soon-to-come heat (here’s hoping!), sandals are the perfect shoe for London but in case your wardrobe is lacking a pair or two, I’ve got…

All That Glamour With Faviana

May 6, 2019 | Miss Gunner

As a little girl I always loved getting dressed up, walking around in my mother’s high heels and getting made up. I’m guessing I’m not alone! And while I now obviously do this all day every day and send you photos and videos, I don’t often wear dresses. When you visit the Faviana website for…

Exploring Six Senses, Duoro Valley, Portugal

May 3, 2019 | Miss Gunner

I’d never been to Portugal before, and when I thought of Portugal I could only recall friends telling me of their trips to Porto or Lisbon. So beaches and old towns are what sprang to mind. For this reason, I was so surprised to see the stunning valleys and the Duoro River that snakes its…

The White Shirt You Need This Spring 2019

March 10, 2019 | Miss Gunner

Well for this spring, it’s all about pushing your shirt details to the edge. Think more is more in this case. I’ve dressed my denim skirt nice and high, and this forces you to block the outfit into two halves. So on the top half you see a simple yet bold white Victorian style white…

Winter Wonderland With Daniel Wellington

December 21, 2017 | by Miss Gunner

Having worked with Daniel Wellington throughout the year, when I think of the brand now, I think of Scandinavia. When I visited Stockholm with the team in November, I got such a detailed sense of Daniel Wellington and what it stands for. It is so proudly Swedish, and it is part of a wider design community in Sweden that lends itself to classic design.

I’m loving Christmas this year! Is it just me or is 2017 more Christmassy than usual?! If you’re a little late getting around to doing your shopping (and I’m talking about shopping for yourself as well as others, obviously), then have a think about whether eBay can help.

A Road Trip To Bath – Planning Your Perfect City Break

December 14, 2017 | by Miss Gunner

When you live in a city like London, often it’s so tempting to grab a cheap flight to another country that you forget what’s in your own backyard. But because I’m Australian and I’m seeing everything with fresh eyes, it’s easy to spot the charm and beauty of the country towns and historical centres that are within a couple of hours of central London.

Coats You’ll Never Want To Take Off

December 12, 2017 | by Miss Gunner

I went a road trip on the weekend to Surrey! If you have seen movie, The Holiday, you will know exactly what I’m talking about – a quaint little town called Shere, with cute pubs and B&Bs and tea rooms. Very English. The Holiday is one of my all time favourite movies and I’ve always wanted to see where it was set. It’s the cutest little town.
