I‘m back in sunny London just in time for Fashion Week! To me, Fashion Week is like a huge reunion party where I get to catch up with all of my friends from around world, and what’s more we get to surround ourselves with amazing fashion! It’s the ultimate girly week.
I started my Fashion Week at a lunch with TheCLCK, where I caught up with old friends and made some new friends. Shannon, who started TheCLCK organised the most amazing lunch at ME London Hotel. TheCLCK is a great platform if you’re seeking out a bit of inspo, so please check it out when you get a chance.
I used to think Fashion Week was just hard work – lugging your wardrobe across town, scheduling lunches and coffees, hustling for show tickets and trying to capture as much of it as you can through the lens at the same time. But all the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.
Yes it’s a rush, yes I have very sore feet, and yes I have an Uber bill the length of my arm – but in return I get to be inspired by all the designers, the shows and presentations that I get to attend. I get a glimpse of upcoming trends and watch visions come to life.
And then seeing my friends killing it with their street style and catching up on all things fashion and blogging is just plain fun. And as much as you think that the fashion industry is cut throat, remember – everyone here is just as human as you are. Just put yourself out there and you will find amazing, kind and inspiring people – everyone wants to just get creative, connect, have a good time and feel a bit of love.
Now I need to get my beauty sleep! Thank you so much for reading guys! Until next time!
